Fix My SERP Collector (Chrome extension) — last updated 2026

The short version

The extension has no servers of its own. It talks to exactly two places: Google, and the Fix My SERP workspace whose address you typed into its popup — your own installation, on your own hosting. We, the authors, never receive your data, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What the extension handles

What it does not do

It does not collect, sell, rent or share personal or financial information, health information, authentication data, location, or your browsing history.
It does not send anything to the extension author or to any third-party analytics service. There is no third-party analytics service.
It does not run on websites you have not granted it. Out of the box it only works on Google Search. Any other site — including your own workspace — requires a permission you grant with a click in the popup, and can revoke at any time in chrome://extensions.
It never types, clicks, posts, likes, follows or changes anything on a website. It reads pages; you do the posting.
Requests it makes to third-party pages are sent without your cookies.
It contains no remote code: all of its JavaScript ships inside the package.

The niche radar

If you turn it on, the extension opens the searches you configured in your workspace (for example a Reddit or Quora search for your topic) in a background tab, reads the visible result titles and links, closes the tab, and sends those titles and links to your workspace so it can suggest which of your articles to update. It is off until you switch it on, it needs the “other websites” permission, and the list of searches comes from your own workspace, not from us.

Storage and retention

The extension keeps only your workspace URL, your access token, the last project you used and the time of the last radar run, in your browser's local extension storage. Removing the extension removes all of it. Anything sent to your workspace is stored in your own database, under your control, and is covered by whatever policy you apply to your own site.

Children

The extension is a professional SEO tool and is not directed at children.
